Sea Ranch is a community located along the Pacific Coast, about 50 miles north of Santa Rosa. Since its original design and inception in 1964, Sea Ranch has remained a small community of private homeowners. The homes in the area are noted for their unique and beautiful architecture and are often rented by vacationers looking to get away to the coast. Part of the design guidelines for buildings within the Sea Ranch community is that they become a part of the natural landscape of the coast by neither dominating nor being dominated by that landscape.
